Job Summary

Performs all automotive tire repairs, changes, balancing, rotations and TPMS procedures oil changes and light mechanical work including setting up vehicles for Alignments.

Responsibilities

• Reviews repair order requests and makes visual inspection of vehicles to determine the extent of tire service and automotive requirements and materials needed.
• Performs tire replacement or minor maintenance services and oil changes.
• Installs valve stem and tire-pressure monitoring system (TPMS) as required.  Mounts tire on wheel assembly and inflates tires as required.
• Test tire balances to ensure proper weight placement.
• Reviews service with sales staff.
• Participate in company's growth training program.
• Complies with Company Quality Control Program, Company Safety Policy.

Desired Qualifications

• Preferred Experience:  
  • Familiarity with tire and lube requirements and specifications
  • Knowledge of tire requirements to include use of wheel balancers, tire specifications, Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems and some drivability diagnostic experience.
  • Willing to train on our equipement.
  • Valid Driver's License approved by insurance company.

Compensation: Competitive Hourly rate-based on experience. Addition commission program after 90 days employment.
